Millard County Jr. Livestock Show

You are cordially invited to attend and participate in the 77th Annual Millard County Jr. Livestock Show being held on Monday, May 26 through Thursday, May 29, 2008 at the Millard County Fairgrounds in Delta, Utah.

Show exhibitors may enter project animals in one or more of the following divisions: Market Beef/Heifer, Market Hog, Market Lamb or in Dairy. Exhibitors are allowed to enter up to three market animals in any division combination. Up to three Dairy entries are also allowed. Exhibitors are also strongly encouraged to participate in our Fitting and Showmanship contests too.

Please remember however that the Show is not solely about working the entire time! Exhibitors can relax and have some fun swimming, participating in judging contests, kicking up their heels at our Stock Show Dance or simply enjoying a delicious dinner at the Awards Banquet. These are just some of the fun activities you will enjoy while attending this year's Show.

Delta City and the other communities throughout Millard County are proud of the Show's history and traditions, and they never pass up the opportunity to support the Show in multiple ways. From the awards to the sale of the market animals, the people of Millard County have always shown great support and enthusiasm for the Show of which the Stock Show Board is very grateful for. The very reason that we have one of the best sales around the region is in part due to the substantial community support we enjoy.

This year's sale will commence on Thursday, May 29th at 10:30 a.m. in the Show Barn. Anyone that is interested is supporting our sale is welcome to join us at a continental-style breakfast at the County Fair Exhibit Building prior to the sale in order to register as a buyer and obtain a bidder number (please, no children). You may also pre-register as a buyer by downloading a pre-registration form via the link below. Any support you may feel you can give will be greatly appreciated and help to make the show another great success.

So, come on out to Delta in the latter part of May, learn a thing or two about livestock, and ultimately enjoy one of the best livestock shows you can find!
