Delta City enacted Ordinance No. 06-229 on October 5, 2006 requiring that solicitor's be licensed with the City in advance of any attempt to make door-to-door sales solicitations. If you have sales people appear upon your property who are not wearing a lanyard with a City-issued identification badge (an image appears below), be advised that they are in violation of the law and can be legally prosecuted by the City. Please report any such unlicensed solicitations to Delta City at 435.864.2759, or after 6:00 p.m. to the non-emergency number of the Millard County Sheriff's Office at 435.864.2755. Also, a solicitor has to honor your request to leave your property if you do not want them present, if they will not leave, call the non-emergency number for the Sheriff's office.
