Agendas & Minutes

The City Council convenes in order to conduct City business on the first and third Thursdays of each month at 7 p.m. within the Council Chambers at the Delta City Municipal Building.  We are mandated under law to hold at least one meeting per month, however, on occasion both regularly scheduled monthly meetings may not be held if there is insufficient business to merit conducting a meeting.  Special City Council meetings and Public Hearings are also held on an as-needed basis and at the discretion of the City Council. Not only is the public invited, but is highly encouraged to participate in all City meetings.  Should you need any special accomodations in order to participate in City meetings, please contact the City Recorder at least one day in advance of the meeting you desire attending.

Matters brought before the Council are presented for their consideration through the preparation and maintenance of an agenda which is delivered to the Council prior to the scheduled meeting's commencement.  Therefore, should you desire to be placed on the next meeting's agenda in order to discuss a matter with the Council, you should contact the City Recorder.  Notices of all public meetings are made at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance of the meeting commencement.  Agendas are posted in the display case within the west foyer of the Delta City Municipal Building, are also provided to the newspaper having general circulation serving our area, The Millard County Chronicle-Progress, area radio stations KNAK (540 AM) broadcasting out of Delta and KMTI (650 AM) broadcasting from Manti, Utah.
